Our Story

"The Glory of the Lord appeared at the Summit like a consuming fire.”

Exodus 24:17 NLT

Pastor Daniel dreamed of pastoring a church that reflects the love and mission of Jesus Christ. He served the founding pastor as a youth and associate pastor for ten years. Then in 1998 the founding pastor turned the leadership over to Pastor Daniel and planted a church in the heart of San Diego.

Pastor Daniel renamed the church in 2001, to “Summit Church” which reflect his passion to lead people to new heights. Pastors Daniel & Theresa desire is to see believers reach their full potential in Christ (new heights) and develop a multi-generational church, a church culture of revivalists, a people known for the love of God and people.

We are a Spirit-filled, Non-denominational Charismatic Church. We daily approach the adventure of a Christian lifestyle with love, courage, passion and integrity Passionate worship and a desire to see the supernatural manifest presence of God in our lives and in our services is a core value of our church.

In response to God's extravagant love towards us, we embrace the Great Commandment to love, and the Great Commission to make disciples. We have an evangelistic heart for our community to reach the lost through local outreach in service and soul winning. We have a global heart for the Nations of the World; we train, equip, and send Mission Teams to Asia, Africa, South America, North America (Mexico) and Central America.

There is a fire of the Holy Spirit in the members of Summit, to experience Revival. We are passionate about making Spirit-filled disciples and mentoring the next generation.
