Worship Ministry

Worship is at the heart of Summit Christian Church. We purpose with all of our heart to respond to who God is and what God has done in our lives through passionate worship. As the Bible says, "We love because He first loved us," (1 John 4:19) we desire to respond in love with the whole of our lives. Our specific worship ministries include: music, dance, and the arts.

Andrew Hopkins, our worship leader, has been leading worship through song since 2002. Composing original worship songs, contemporary worship music (Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Hillsong, etc.) and adapting traditional hymns to his own style, Andrew leads us to the heart of God.

In dance, Cassandra Lenzner is choreographing and teaching our talented young dancers as well as leading Summit's Missionary Dance Team. Haley Kelly directs the arts and drama performances that we have throughout the year. She brings the genres and generations together to present comical, dramatic, and inspiring performances.
