Missions
Summit has a heart for reaching the nations with the good news of the Gospel. Embracing the Great Commandment and Obeying the Great Commission to reach the whole world, Pastors Daniel and Theresa Jones and Pastor Andy Jones have led teams on mission trips to Uganda, Swaziland, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, and the Philippines. Our mission trips include ministering in the streets, sharing the gospel, conducting Pastors' conferences and crusades, and encouraging and gifting native churches and orphan homes. The focus of Missions is to do the works of Christ; pray for the sick; witness God's miraculous works; reach the lost with a message of Hope; and equip and encourage indigenous pastors.
We also engage in local community outreaches to win the lost in our own community. We are a soul winning church with an evangelistic heart to touch the hurting in our local community.
We have Park outreaches to minister to feed & clothe the homeless. On a monthly basis we minister and serve food at two Homeless Shelters for families. We participate in "Friday Night Heights", a big-brother, big-sister program to youth that meets bi-monthly at Boomers in Vista, CA. We have sponsored free clothing distribution, and free Thanksgiving Care boxes during the Holiday.
We engage in Soul winning Adventures each month where we train, equip, and go out to malls, neighborhoods, parks, etc. with the message of Hope & the Good News of Christ.
Swaziland, Pretoria, Tzaneen, South Africa - 2011
This summer a team of 23 members from Summit, and Road-to-Life Churches began a journey in Swaziland. We were met at the airport by Missionary Luke Rider, we carried (60) Talking Bibles to be distributed in Swaziland. We had tremendous favor and were able to distribute Talking Bibles in the local hospitals, schools, and marketplaces. We were able to pray for the sick in two different hospitals. We also did an assembly in a local elementary school and presented the Gospel through Evangel-cubes to the students.
In Pretoria, we ministered alongside Pastor Dries, Estie, Pastor Jeremiah, Pastor Josiah and their team. We ministered in the Shanty towns, orphanages and went door to door in neighborhoods. We prayed for the sick, and saw God heal deaf ears, and two blind eyes. In the evening we had an outdoor concert with the Summit Band and saw God save and heal many souls at the Crusades in Shanty towns.
In Tzaneen, we teamed up with Pastors Bryan, Dianne, Maryna and the Shekinah House Team. We ministered at many Elementary and High schools with skits, songs, and the presentation of the Gospel. We were amazed at the freedom to present Christ in the public schools and saw a mass harvest of souls saved. We also ministered at several orphanages and did Treasure Hunts in the marketplaces. The last night was a Youth Concert at Shekinah House, we saw God touch many of the youth.
The Mission trip to South Africa was awesome, we saw many healings, and we saw about 2071 souls saved throughout the trip, Glory to God!
Oceanside Pier, CA - Local Summer Outreach - 2011
We had an amazing local outreach at Oceanside Pier. A soul winning team met together prayed, and God gave us specific words of knowledge for this Treasure Hunt on Oceanside Pier. The Holy Spirit led us to this location and we discovered this was a day of prayer & healing on the beaches. As soon as we arrived we ministered to a women with stage 4 cancer, we prayed for many healings and saw God touch many people. A group of teens got saved, many military marines were saved, and we saw over 35 people come to know the Lord this day. It was a powerful day of ministry on the beaches, we even water baptized some of the new believers.
San Marcos, CA - Local Park Outreach - 2011
"Pirates in the Park" was our theme for this local outreach. In pirate and clown costumes we witnessed to all who were at the park that day. We made balloon animals, gave out candy, and entertained the families who were enjoying the park that day.We saw groups of teens saved, children saved, and families saved. It was an awesome to see God touch our community through the Love of God.
Philippines, Asia - 2010
We ministered in Baguio City, La Trinidad, and Agoo partnering with Victory Churches of Every Nation. What an amazing trip! There were many God saved, healed, set ablaze with a new passion, and brought into a greater revelation of the Father's love.

Uganda, Africa - 2008
With a heart to preach the gospel to all nations, Summit set out to Jinja, Uganda in May 2008 to minister in schools, bring aid to orphans, minister to indigenous pastors, and bring salvation to the people. We were a witness to a resounding success!
Summit's team of 12 missionaries, along with the Conquerors 9a team of athletes that perfom feats of strength and preach the gospel) ministered in over 30 schools - some predominately Muslim - with music, skits, and dance. At the same time our team of pastors (from San Marcos, Michigan, and Malaysia) held a leadership conference where over 600 indigenous pastors and leaders were trained, equipped and inspried. We brought sandals and toys for the orphanage that Summit has supported for the last several years. For four evenings our whole team conducted crusades in a local arena.
As a result of Summit's fourth missionary trip to Uganda, thousands of lives were saved, healed, and delivered and given new hope through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Mexico City, Mexico - 2007
In July of 2007, pastors Daniel and Theresa Jones led a team of thirteen short-term missionaries from Summit to Mexico City, Mexico, where we were joined by team 'Todos debien saber' (Everyone ought to know) under the leadership of Missionary Ted Russell. The two teams combined their skills and presented dramas, skits, songs, dances, mimes and clowning. Performances were given in many venues including the Zo'calo (square in Mexico City), streets, parks and local churches. We performed in an auditorium packed with children and saw a huge harvest of both children and adults! Over 350 souls were won to the Lord and miraculous healings occurred throughout the trip. We thank God for such an awesome trip!
Uganda, Africa - 2006
In the summer of 2006, Pastors Daniel and Theresa Jones and Dan O'Dash led a team of twenty-three to Uganda Africa. Conducting school assemblies, the teams performed skits, sang, danced, mimed and preached the Gospel. The teams visited orphanages and brought over 500 pairs flip-flops and toys for the children. The teams also ministered in local native churches, preaching and praying for the sick. Three nights of crusades ended the mission trip with over 1,800 souls being saved. The team prayed for the sick and saw God perform many miraculous healings.
God truly blessed the mission trip with a harvest.
Rio De Janiero, Brazil - 2005
2005 - Pastors Daniel and Theresa and a team of fourteen went to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in the summer of 2005. Led by Andrew Hopkins and Jana Jones, the street witnessing teams worshipped, danced, and witnessed in local marketplaces. The team led over 100 people to the Lord in the streets of Brazil.
Ministering in local churches, the teams helped to conduct a city-wide crusade with James De Melo's evangelistic ministry. As the teams prayed for the sick they witnessed some outstanding miracles, including a blind woman receiving her sight. God truly blessed the mission trip with awesome results.
South Africa - 2004
2004 - Pastors Daniel and Theresa Jones and Dan O'Dash helped conduct a leadership conference in conjunction with James DeMelo Evangelistic Ministry for local pastors in South Africa. The ministry included a crusade and preaching in local churches.
Uganda, Africa - 2004
2004 - Pastor Theresa and Dan O'Dash ministered in schools & orphanages in Uganda, Africa. Pastor Daniel preached in local native churches.
Mexico - 2004
2004 - Pastor Andy Jones led a team of fifty people to Mexico for a mission trip. The team reached out to the community through a street carnival. The team ministered to the children through the arts: drama, dance, mime, and street witnessing.

2003 - Pastor Daniel Jones and Pastor Andy Jones led a team of eleven to Uganda, Africa. The team's ministry included: witnessing through the fine arts of dance, drama, and mime. The Gospel was ministered through sharing in school assemblies, preaching in churches, and visiting orphanages.
