About Us

Led by Pastors Daniel and Theresa Jones, we are a dynamic, contemporary, Spirit filled Christian Church. Daily we approach the adventure of a Christian lifestyle with love, courage and integrity. Our heart is in the community that surrounds us, with outreach programs that delve into the lives of community members. There is a fire in the members of Summit that fuels fervor for extreme Christianity. We are passionate about our making disciples and mentoring the next generation. We support each other and our extended community through the inspired preaching & teaching of God's Word, Life Groups, through intercessory prayer, and through the multi-faceted events designed to challenge and empower.

We are located near Cal State University San Marcos (CSUSM), specifically across the street from the dorms (UVA) on Barham Drive.

Praise and worship fill our sanctuary where we exalt the One God and embrace the Bible as His inspired Word. We seek a closer relationship with God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit  the triune Godhead  through worship, daily prayer and study of His Word.

What we Believe...

1. Bible: We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, without error in the original languages.
2. God: We believe the one true God manifest Himself in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) known as the Trinity.
3. Jesus: We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His complete conquest over the power of Satan, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His sure return in the manner as He went away.
4. Holy Spirit: We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling Christians are enabled to live Godly lives. That the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available and operational in the body of Christ today.
5. Church: We believe the church consists of all those who truly believe in Jesus Christ and His atoning death, and who trust in Him as their Lord and Savior.
6. Salvation: We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of lost men and women. This salvation is wholly by grace through faith and also includes healing.
7. Baptism & Communion: We believe in the ordinance of baptism in water (immersion). We also believe in the ordinance of Holy Communion.
8. Heaven & Hell: We believe in the resurrection of both the lost and the saved. The lost unto eternal damnation; the saved unto eternal life.
9. Spiritual Unity:  We believe in spiritual unity of all who believe in our Lord, Jesus Christ.
